    The frame tool for InDesign seems similar to the one used in Adobe Photoshop. You select the area you want to put your image into and then you can click and drag the image from the desktop, into the area you selected in the beginning. Although, this tool for InDesign seems to have more precise chosen are to work with then with the Photoshop tool. This tool will probably be used to insert images onto the background in an easier way and move them around to fit the final product. What's interesting about this video is that he doesn't just go over the tools he goes over the basics of InDesign such as the pages tab, guides under layout, etc.

    This video goes over how to use all the basic tools in Above InDesign and it is very easy to follow along with. The easiest tools to use are definitely going to be the selection tool and direct selection tool as they seem similar to the Photoshop version, and I am familiar with both of these tools. The pencil tool seems similar to Photoshops Brush Tool which leads me to believe it will also be easier to use. Under the pencil tool there is a smooth tool, which will smooth out the rough areas from the freehanded pencil tool, this seems to be a new tool but also easy to use. The video

    The video goes over five tools for beginners and thoroughly explains each of them. For the type tool you create a text box first and then type in whatever it is you want to. The selection tool which again seem similar to Photoshops design and is easy to maneuver around. The rectangle tool works easily and is again similar to Photoshops design there. Overall, these tools seem very familiar and easy to use. The video is helpful and is a great tutorial for beginners.
