Adobe Photoshop Beginner tools

Photoshop Tools in 2 minutes

This video is a simple overview of the tools in photoshop and it is about two minutes long. The video is really short but the tools seem similar to the ones in Adobe Illustrator. The pen tool, rectangle tool, ellipse tool, magnifying glass tool, and even the paintbrush tool seem reminiscent to the tools in Illustrator, as stated before, and will not be difficult to use again. One tool that seems different is the clone stamp tool which samples a point from the selected area with the Alt or Option key, and click and then you can paint that sample in another area. This tool seems like it will be relatively easy to use as well, probably because we used Illustrator first, and it just does not look difficult to use.

This video breaks down all of the tools that the creator found that he used the most when working with Photoshop. The creator of the video gives a brief yet very informative rundown on how to use the tools. One tool in particular is the marquee tool which allows you to select and area by just clicking and dragging. You can even then  change the color of that selected are, change the marquee tool itself to a circle for examples. Another tool mentioned is the lasso tool which lets you create an original outline and then you can move that section, that you created, around the canvas. Once again, these seem like fairy easy tools to utilize and seems like it will not be too much trouble to learn how to use all of the tools well.

This video goes over the different selection tools in Adobe Photoshop, and some have already been mentioned in the other videos above, but it is still and informative video. The magic wand tool is mentioned in this video and what it does is it targets the specific objects entirely. It is a powerful tool because with the other selection tools you have to manually draw what you want selected. This seems like it will also be a fairly easy tool to grasp and utilize properly to ensure a great end product.
